OMG! C-O-L-L-E-G-E!!! This thing is freaking hard >.<
Although I already expected it to be harsh and hard, I still want to say: College is Hard! >.<
Base on my current situation, I can say that nothing could possibly prepare you for it. I already did a lot of preparations myself.
I reviewed during my last year in high school for the college entrance examinations, got accepted in a lot(yes, I'm happy to say that :) ), then pick one. I even made myself have a math review a month before my classes starts. ( I personally thought that its a good idea since: a. I'm not really good with Math, so better get all the help I need, b. I really don't want to embarrass myself when I'm called for
a problem and c. I was bored(can you believe it? I study even more when I'm bored O_o I even ask myself at times, "WHY?")).
My mom even paid for classes.
After my "Math Month", I realized that a week from then, My college life will start.
At first, everything was fine. I'm doing well( and even praised at times. I'm not boasting, I'm just really happy when people appreciate my efforts :) ). As for Math, well its a given that I had a hard time.
Just imagine this:
Your teacher is good with the subject but he keeps mixing things up. It was honestly confusing! And since he continually confuse us with the subject, we keep on failing on exams T.T In total we had 5 exams(I wasn't able to use what I reviewed because that type of Math is not part of my chosen program. It was a bad investment!) . I barely pass my last 2 exams(Thank you for letting me pass your subject!). Out of 31 students only 10 remained to have their Programming 1 class for the next term.
Things I learned from that experience:
-Before you get any advance class for the summer, know your Program curriculum
-Through fun, studying, exams, success and failure your friends are there and you should be too for them
-When your break day comes(a day or two when you don't have any subject schedules), You will literally succumb to sleep
